VOLUNTEER ACTIVITIES:

Our volunteer program provides a wide range of activities to get involved in. Primarily we promote English teaching as the country and its children urgently need volunteer teachers.
 
We like to include hands on experience in work that fits your interests or studies, especially in Media or local radio, French as a Modern Language, IT computer literacy, tennis, animal studies, and Conservation and Environment, either as part of your teaching assignment, or for those qualified in biology, ecology and zoology, we can offer 3 month assignments in rainforest projects.
 
No skills or qualifications are required, provided you are willing to learn during training and as you go along.
 
However, for teaching English it is useful if you have a TEFL certificate, even from a weekend course. It is also helpful though not essential to speak a bit of French, and it is a great place to practise your French, because people take time to try and understand.
